Power and Performance

Each 2024 Canyon comes with a 310-horsepower turbo-four that provides best-in-class gas engine torque of 430 pound-feet of torque. You’ll also get an eight-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive in all models except the rear-wheel drive base trim.

Depending on how you configure your Canyon, it can haul between 1,000 and 1,650 pounds in the 5’2″ bed. Some trims can tow up to 7,000 pounds while others top out at a maximum of 6,600 pounds. A trailer brake controller is available on the upper trims of the truck.

Off-Roading Utility

Every trim has a standard off-road suspension with a 2-inch lift, and several trims add extra features that prepare you to take to the trails. For example, the AT4 model features advanced hill descent control and an off-road suspension package, as well as a locking rear differential and a two-speed transfer case.

At the top of the lineup, the AT4X trim gets even more off-road-ready equipment. It includes a Baja drive mode, front and rear automatic locking rear differentials, and suspension dampers. You can upgrade this model to the new-for-2024 AEV Edition, which gives you 1.5 inches of extra ground clearance, expanded fender flares, specialized wheels and tires, steel front and rear bumpers, and boron steel skid plates.

Interior Space and Features

The Canyon comes in just one cabin configuration, which has comfortable seating for up to five. Amenities include push-button start, proximity keyless entry, and three USB ports. This truck incorporates GMC Pro Safety driver assistance features such as forward collision warning with pedestrian and cyclist detection, lane departure warning with lane keep assist, intelligent high beams, a following distance indicator, and forward automatic emergency braking.

The Canyon also has a standard 11-inch driver information center, which is the largest digital gauge screen you’ll find in the midsize pickup class. It has integrated Google apps like Maps as well as Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a wireless hotspot. As you move up the lineup, you can enjoy luxury touches like open-pore wood, perforated leather upholstery, a color head-up display, and a 360-degree camera system with 10 available perspectives.

The 2024 Canyon comes in four capable trims and offers a modern, streamlined appearance thanks to a full redesign just last year. Visit Dutch Miller’s Beckley Automall in Beckley, WV today to test drive this truck and experience its rugged refinement from the driver’s seat.
