The 2025 GMC Sierra HD is the ideal truck to meet the tough demands of work. It’s available in 2500 and 3500 configurations, and comes in seven capable trims. Let’s explore the trim levels.
Exploring the Trim Levels of the 2025 GMC Sierra HD
Pro
The base Pro trim comes with the 6.6L V8 engine that produces 401 hp and 464 lb-ft of torque. It’s capable of towing up to 22,050 pounds with proper equipment. Pro offers basic functional features such as vinyl seats, a 6-speaker stereo, and 7-inch infotainment touchscreen. Interior and exterior accents are black.
SLE
SLE comes with the 6.6L V8 engine, but is available with the 6.6L Duramax Turbo-Diesel V8 that delivers 470 hp and 975 lb-ft of torque. The diesel engine is ideal for heavy towing needs, with a maximum gooseneck capacity of 22,500 pounds in 2500 models and 36,000 pounds in 3500 models. SLE models upgrade to cloth upholstery, a power driver’s seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and LED lighting. A 13.4-inch center touchscreen is standard.
SLT
Like SLE, SLT uses the 6.6L V8 engine, but is available with the diesel engine. It comes in a crew cab configuration only, which offers a rear bench seat and four full-size doors. Leather upholstery is standard, as are heated/ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel. A navigation system comes with the infotainment system, which also includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
AT4
AT4 uses the 6.6L V8 engine and is 4WD only. It’s designed for off-road performance, with an off-road-tuned suspension, Rancho monotube shocks, underbody skid plates, and an Off-Road driver selectable mode. Red tow hooks make AT4 stand out. Inside, the rear seats are heated, and the audio system is upgraded to a 7-speaker Bose unit.
AT4X
AT4X is similar to AT4 but includes additional rugged features such as Multimatic DSSV dampers, an electronic locking rear differential, a 1.5-inch suspension lift, and off-road tires. Upgrades include full-grain leather seating, massaging front seats, and off-road-specific navigation features.
Denali
Denali is powered by the 6.6L V8, with the diesel engine featured as an optional choice. Denali models are decked out in signature chrome accents and ride on 20-inch wheels. Inside the cabin, open-pore wood adds an upscale look and feel. A digital rearview mirror is standard, offering a clear look of behind the truck.
Denali Ultimate
Denali Ultimate is the only trim that comes standard with the diesel engine. It’s the ultimate expression of luxury, with leather and suede upholstery, 16-way power-adjustable front seats, and massaging rear seats. The infotainment system uses Google built-in software, and the digital cluster gauge includes a 15-inch head-up display.
