The Acadia is the three-row that does not require stepping into a full-size SUV, and it is more capable than its position in the range suggests. All four trims share a 2.5L turbocharged four making 328 horsepower and 326 lb-ft through an eight-speed automatic, and unusually all four share the same 5,000 lb tow rating with the Trailering Package. There is no bigger engine higher up the range. So towing is not a reason to move up the ladder, and the trim decision comes down to seating, ground clearance and equipment.
The seating detail is the one worth pausing on, because it runs backwards from what people expect. The Elevation is the only Acadia that seats eight, using a second-row bench. The AT4, Denali and Denali Ultimate all use second-row captain's chairs and seat seven. So the entry trim carries the most people, and moving up trades a seat for easier third-row access. Cargo space is 23.0 cubic feet behind the third row, which is a real grocery run with all seven or eight aboard, opening to 97.5 cubic feet with rows two and three folded.
Elevation is well equipped rather than basic, with the 15-inch touchscreen, an 11-inch driver display, Bose 12-speaker audio standard and over nineteen standard safety features. AT4 is the only all-wheel-drive-only Acadia and sits highest at 7.7 inches of ground clearance, on all-terrain tires with an exclusive Terrain mode, which is the version that makes sense if your driveway or your camp road is not paved. Denali brings a standard head-up display, 20-inch wheels and leather-appointed seating at 7.3 inches of clearance. Denali Ultimate adds Super Cruise as standard, a 16-speaker Bose system and massaging front seats. Super Cruise is available on every Acadia trim, which is broader than anything else we stock.

Why Buy Your Acadia at Dutch Miller's Beckley Automall
- Third rows you can genuinely sit in. Come fold the seats down and climb into the back yourself. Photos and cubic-foot numbers do not settle it, and we will not rush you through that part of the visit.
- Seven seats or eight, shown side by side. The Elevation uses a second-row bench for eight, every other trim uses captain's chairs for seven. That changes the vehicle more than the trim badge does, so see both before you decide.
- Super Cruise demonstrated properly. The Acadia has the widest Super Cruise availability of anything we stock, optional even on the base Elevation. Read how it actually works, then let us show you on a mapped road rather than in the parking lot.
- Family scheduling that respects your time. Book service online around school runs instead of sitting on hold. We are at 3934 Robert C. Byrd Dr. in Beckley.

Buying a GMC Acadia in Beckley, WV: Common Questions
What should I bring to properly test drive an Acadia with a family?
Bring the car seats and bring the kids. Seriously. Whether a third row works for your family is decided by how easily a car seat installs in row two and whether someone can get past it, and that is not something you can judge from a photo or a cargo figure. We will give you the time to fit the seats and climb in the back yourself rather than hurrying you through a lap of the lot.
Should I buy the Elevation for eight seats or a higher trim for seven?
This is the real Acadia decision and it runs backwards from most vehicles. The Elevation is the only trim that seats eight, using a bench in the second row. Every trim above it seats seven with captain's chairs, which are more comfortable and make the third row far easier to reach. If you regularly carry eight people, that decides it. If you rarely do, the captain's chairs are usually the better daily vehicle. Sit in both.
Is Super Cruise worth adding when I order?
It depends entirely on your driving. If you regularly run long stretches of interstate, it changes those trips meaningfully and it is available on every Acadia trim, which is unusual in the GMC range. If your miles are mostly local, it is a feature you will rarely use. It is worth a demonstration on a mapped road before you commit either way, and it is easier to option at order than to wish for later.
I am trading an SUV my family outgrew. How does that work?
Start with an instant offer online for a baseline, then bring it in so we can look at it properly, since a three-row that has hauled a family has wear a form will not capture and sometimes value a form will miss. If there is a payoff, bring the details. We will show you the appraisal and the payoff separately rather than rolling everything into one number you cannot pick apart.
Can I order an Acadia Denali if you do not have one?
Yes, and right now that is the only way to get one from us, because our Acadia stock is Elevation and AT4. Ordering also lets you add Super Cruise to a trim other than the top one, which is worth knowing if you want the technology without everything else that comes with the flagship. Ask us to check what is inbound first, since something close may already be on its way.
Do you offer anything that covers maintenance for a family vehicle?
Prepaid maintenance and extended coverage are both worth asking about at purchase, particularly on a vehicle that will carry a lot of miles and a lot of people. We would rather explain what each one actually covers and let you decline it than sell you something you do not understand. Ask what is already included in the factory coverage first, because part of it may be there without paying for anything extra.
Vehicle availability, equipment, options and features change daily and are subject to prior sale. Some equipment or features may be limited by supply. Towing, payload and range figures are manufacturer estimates for a properly equipped vehicle and vary with configuration, so please confirm that any vehicle you are considering includes the equipment you expect before you buy.
